Meet- ups and #'s for 10/22 CAM day at Colemans

Right off the bat - I think folks should start threads for their own geographic sub regions, as opposed to trying to organize it all under on thread.

I wanted to get the ball rolling and just for fun, get an idea of numbers too. Oh and I'm bored at work...
So if you're planning to ride down - why not gather up those near you and ride down together?

I'l lbe leaving out of arlington - but I'm on-call so I'll be going solo.

Start time is listed as "Like 10 am"

i'm "IN" though i'll need to cage it if i don't get the bike sorted and started this weekend. nothing worse than having ride down in a car in your leathers...

what time are people shooting for to arrive at the Woodbridge store?

done it...had to get a car somewhere fast afterwork one day and rode home...jumped off the bike in full gear still and into the car and drove off...helmet still on and everything!....was very gratifying to watch the reactions out of people at lights through my mirrored visor!!!

oh yeah....I think Imma be there....hopefully I can get up and moving since it looks like I might have to do a guest DJ spot the night before!

I'm a very strong possible.

I'll probably be caging it though since I'm not getting a parking pass for the bike at our new place until this spring, so she'll be in her winter hiding place at a friend's house.

I'll be there but I'll be coming down from a wedding in Philadelphia the night before, not sure exactly what time I'll be able to grab my bike in Oakton before I head on down.... might not be until around noonish.

I am up for it, 10 am you said, where is the meeting? Couple of friends are also coming without bikes. I am trying to get them into one. I was also planning in leaving my s2r at coleman for the 6000 miles service, so coming in with a bike and leaving without one.

10 am is when they plan to begin things at Colemans. If you wish to be there at the start, you'll need to leave at 9:xx or whatever to arrive at 10.

The final meet location is Colemans PS Woodbridge. My point of thso thread was to get the folks who live close to eachother to orgranize at ride down in groups. If you want to start a meet up & ride down thread for your hood - go for it.

As far as leaving you bike, you might wish to talk to them about that, Bret/Desmo996 can probably help you on that account. This is a special event on a Sunday and the store will NOT be open for regular business. So it's quite possible that you won't be able to drop off your bike that day. But Brett, Lucy(Cookie) and Ben(Coolasice) have been pretty damn good to us so far, so there is a chance.

I will be there. I havnt decided if im going to ride or drive the 928. The annual big 928 GTG is the same weekend (over near Dulles), but all the good stuff happens on Saturday. Well almost, the real good stuff happens Friday night at the hotel bar.

Any word on an ST-3 or ST-4 for a demo? I saw an ST-4 for sale on the site.

why not use Coleman's Fall's Church as a general rally point to gather folks for a mass deployment?....just a thought!

We could - but it's not really 'on the way' for most folks. The roads/street around there aren't so much fun, and there's isn't a really good way to get from FC to woodbridge that I can think of.

I was thinking that peole would pod up in small groups and run their local fun roads down.

YES!!!! by some divine intervention i got the bike fixed and running. and i'm going to be starting it every day this week just to keep her in form. if there is anyone else from alexandria going, i'll be leaving from 102 South Patrick street that morning (Misha's coffee). it's usually a big triumph motorcycle hangout on the weekends but i think we can give them a little friendly competition.
