I was looking at the S4R when I bought my S4 but I could not justify paying almost 4 grand more for it. Oh well I settled for crap I know. :D

I'm with you. I saw one in Seattle at the Eastside dealer and was not as excited as I thought I would be. The bike looks like they bolted on whatever was left over in bins. Not very integrated looking in my opinion. No doubt it has more preformance than what procedes it.

I just bought an s4r in MN and I think it is a great looking bike. I had only seen pictures of it on the site and ordered it based on that. I got lucky and it is beautiful.

Great bike, but who dreamed up that exhaust system? The emissions equip. looks lovely! Lets see what Termi can do with it. I do like the curved radiator, though.

Love that color, although I had white wheels on on old FZ600 and they drove me bananas, I ended up having them painted black.

Don't use the brakes! I use SimpleGreen. Just spray it on, quick wipe, and hose it off. Works great on the engine, too.
Get the new yellow stuff, it wont take your breath away if you happen to catch a wiff.

Sorry it took so long to reply ibthegator, everybody's got a cold at home so I'm Mr. Mom. I wanted the blue with the white stripe but it was sold the day before. So I bought the black with black wheels, I like it better matches all my gear.

Now if I can just rig some snow chains for when it snows. ;D

I also have the blue and white. The white wheels really make the bike stand out and the issue of keeping them clean is mute.
They are not that diffucult to keep clean in my opinion and is a small price to pay .

I'm on my second one. First one had a problem that was taking too long to fix (It read hot but was'nt...replaced temp guage..then ECU..next was a wiring harness), so I bought another one.

First one was black...now a blue one. White wheels are'nt much of an issue..JUST CLEAN EM ::)

The MS4R is my favorite bike and I've had near 30 in the last 7 years. I can't say enough good about it, really.

It's a piece of rolling art and it GOES! 8)
