Hi CR

Tnx :).

I use this equipement:
A Sony Alpha a7R (ILCE-7R) with 36 MP resolution full frame sensor, most of the time with a Zeiss Lens, 35mm/2.8 and sometimes with a Sony 70-200mm/2.8-4.0 Lens. With the Zeiss Lens a lightweight combi and with both superb picture quality. My second is an older and much cheaper Sony Nex7 with a 24 MP C-MOS sensor and a Sony 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 (SEL-1855). Picture and video quality still very good.

I shoot always in RAW mode. Most of the pics are processed in photoshop. I try to get as close as possible to the performance of the human eye. Contrast range, colour properties etc. It's not the classic "High Dynamic Range method". I work with several layers, mix options etc. Sounds complicated but I need not more than 5 minutes per picture.

Thanks! I have the Alu-rack already but I've been using the Blaze soft bags. The C-Bow rack to me is a total commitment to having the bags all the time and now that they have hard bags that is OK. I didn't like the idea of having soft bags on all the time.

I have the 60mm rise Rizoma risers. Any idea how much rise the Rox risers gave you? I just bought some adjustable foot pegs from e-bay (read: China) to try the concept before I do anything too serious due to hip cramping due to my case of O-L-D. Just put them on the bike but haven't been able to do a test ride yet.

My wife's M1200S has the SW Motech Alu Rack and Blaze bags set-up. If you go the Hepco-Becker C-Bow route in addition to the Alu Rack, those C-Bow side racks share a mounting point (rear blinker/support arm) bolt. In addition, in order for the Alu arms to clear the C-Bow rear arm, you have to use an additional spacer (3mm) and longer bolt at the shared mounting point and also have to use an additional 10mm spacer/longer bolt at those 4 undertail points. And it helps to have a few extra hands to hold everything in place to line up the bolts/parts. The C-Bow arms sans panniers don't look too bad. The C-Bow racks come with additional spacers if you want to use the bags with your rear cowl cover. Places the bags out an additional 10mm.

The Rox risers are 2". Unlike the Rizoma, you can rotate the bars back/forward for optimum positioning with the Rox. Plenty of slack in all the cables/hoses.
