Anyone have any favorite routes that can you can sneak off to for a lunchtime ride?

I work in Redmond and I've been thinking of putting toghether a 'Lunch Run' list of routes.

Just the normal ones.....link them together for a fun one....

Just East of Redmond

Novelty Hill Rd then right on (?) to right on Ames Lake Road left on Redmond-Fall City Rd left on Tolt Hill RD and back to work via Novelty Hill Rd.

...If you have more time pass Tolt hill Rd and head Right on SE Issaquah Fall City RD(street sign may be different name but it's just past the baseball field on the left...like 10 ft past take a right (out and back) there are some fun side roads too. Then hit Tolt Hill RD on the way back.

Find a map and find Old Duvall hwy that one is fun too...Good stuff to the north on the same side of the valley you end up in Snoqualmie....Fun roads around Duvall too.

...If all else fails ride around. Good luck...I can spend 2-3 hours out there.

I knew I wasn't the only one who wanders around out that way. I live just off of 208th and Novelty Hill Rd. Makes it real nice to go for a ride and stop by the house for lunch on the way back to work.

I'll keep an eye out for you. Maybe we'll see each other out there some time.

Perhaps one of these days I'll put together a web page dedicated just to rides around here....

I guess that I should feel grateful that I don't work in that area of greater Seattle, as I have many lunch rides that some would be happy with just for the weekend rides, not to mention NO TRAFFIC! Around the Mount Vernon area, the Lake Cavanaugh road is my favorite ride for a quickie, light traffic and very entertaining. I won't even get into my morning commute ride choices!

Hello, all:

I have disappeared from these boards because of a new job that has utterly consumed me... been too busy to post!

Although I've been too busy to post, I have been able to ride... and have been very pleasantly surprised by the roads near my new job... on 208th in Redmond!

SO... If you see someone on a matte black m900, give the wave...

Wow Ryan, you are right near my house. Walking distance actually! I take my son over to the playground there in the afternoons pretty often.

I'm just off 91st. We should meet up with Brad sometime and go for a run.

I'd be up for ride sometime, although unfortunately not without some pretty good advance notice: I have a rather hectic schedule m-f.

Heh, well I jump on Evergreen west to Jackson School road, north to some road I don't remember, West to Forest Grove 47 to Hagg Lake, do the loop, and the route in reverse.

I don't make it in under an hour . . . typically takes 1.5 hours but then . . . my boss can lick my left elbow if he don't like it. >:D

I think that's Helvetia or possibly Old Cornelius Pass? If you don't want to go West from their, a right at Skyline gets you another very nice, windy, tree-lined route toward town. Just go to Rock Creek Tavern and pick a direction, you'll have a good ride.
