For those of you in the market, LP has been running a constant stream of Spidi leathers on Ebay via their outlet on there (sportbikr).

Most of them MSRP around $800-hi$900s and are starting at $300 bids (and going for opening bid!). Lots of sizes, too.

I've already taken delivery of one set. It's beautiful. By the time I'm done, there'll be enough leather under the tree this year to clothe a whole family of needy cows ;D

I've been watching LP do this for a while now. My problem is that I wouldn't know which size to get - I believe 56 by their sizing chart, but I don't have a 36 waist :-[ It seems like their suits would be WAY too wide in the middle section for me.

Yeah, buying non-returnable items without trying them on can be nerve wracking.

I just won the auction on the Spidi GTS 2-piece in black.

I was looking at the GTS also. Look forward to hearing what you think of it.

I bought a pair of GTS size 58 since i am 6'4". The jacket fits great, sleeve length is just right (normal shirt size 17/36). The pants however are designed for a heavier build. I wear a size 35 or 36 waist and these GTS pants are very loose around the middle. My inseam is 35 and these barely fit.(great for tucking into boots)

Will be asking the good folks at spidi if any of their other pants will fit/zip to the jacket.
Otherwise great quality outfit that does not look too roadracerish.

Tallduc,

I agree about the size/shape of the pants. I put mine on again and went riding for about an hour. From about the bottom of the hips up to the waist, they are larger than the Dainese. I'll either have to get about 1 1/2 inches taken out of the waist, or use suspenders to hold the pants up while walking around without the jacket. For a six footer, I have a short inseam, so the legs are a little long, but no problem keeping the knee armor where it belongs.

The jacket fits great, and just has enough room for my back protector, so I know a 54 wouldn't have worked well for me.

I may get the pants altered some day, but it's not a critical item. They are pretty comfortable, especially when getting off the bike to gas up and stuff.
