Re: Left Side of Qutt-D Ex Box
The previous owner added two pipes up top to put the tailights in
they also added a second rail to meet up with it. I cut and straightened ever so slightly then re-welded it, blended the two pipes to the rails with body filler. It was 2 pipes with a stark sharp meet before, now it flows like one piece.
It was also painted flat black and not dark like the frame was originally. So I am also painting the back half where it was modified Dark instead of the flat black they had painted it.
I also have a carbon hugger, front carbon fender coming, and possibly a belly pan in carbon.
I am still pondering painting all the carbon stuff dark too instead of leaving it carbon clear. I just can't decide.
My other toys are feeling neglected though.
The Softail is hibernating, along with my KTM 450 EXC and the wifes TTR-225.
