you sure can buy the parts and do it yourself. nothing complicated but it may take some patience to get the stock crankcase breather off. although i'd be curious as to why your fuel sender unit is leaking. that part runs about a $100 new last i remember.

if your crank case breather valve is leaking there's plenty of aftermarket ones available... i'd recommend the nichols breather because i've never seen a nichols breather leak... i've seen stm, stock, etc all leak. there goes another easy $100 for parts.

the cap on mine failed. so did this one other guy's. so i got someone to make some aluminum nuts on his CNC. try inverting your tank (maybe drain it first...) and remove the cap and inspecting it. :)

breather is a common thing, too. i'm out right now, but expecting a stack of nichols breathers to come in early in the week.

My breather just went. I was planning to put a Nichols on due to all the solid reports on this forum. But I was at BCM for my 12k service and they recommended VeeTwo for $75. I trust Bruce also so I chose to go for the cheaper unit. Looks sharp.

Too early to give you my own FHE on it though.

the plastic nut's really easy to crossthread and FUBAR too. did it myself saturday. didn't pay full attention cuz i was all sorts of excited to actually put gas in the bike and give it a go. well gasoline managed to pour everywhere... shaved the offending threads and reused. but a billet replacement would've been awful handy right at that moment!
