LA or San Diego this X'mas

I am doing some family visit in San Diego this X'mas. A brilliant thought
came to me :

why don't I get my bike down there since there's more
chance they have dry roads. So...is anyone going that way and want
to share a truck? I'm quasi-flexible with dates - can leave SF before
X'mas day or on or after and like to be back before New Year's day.
Even if you're not going that way but are interested in seeing the south,
don't let a chance like this pass you by

I'm down. I was thinking of driving down, but bringing MLP would be great too! My doggie in LA probably won't like riding cupcake so I'll still have to drive a car down regardless. I hear the best day to drive down is xmas day. I wouldn't mind staying for New Year's but I'll have to get back to you on that and see if I may have to come back up sooner since I know I'll still be paying for this trip
