Cool project for sure, but as both a Monster and 1098 owner, I appreciate them for their differences in both look and ride. BTW, 848/1098/1198 are not part of the Panigale family as you mentioned, and I believe it was Galluzzi who designed the original Monster.

100% agree, I just need to find some, and I definitely need a windshield first
I can't tell from your pics, but I don't see that you are using the 1098 headlight/fairing stay. You will likely need one if you plan on running the OEM 1098 mirrors. Not only do they house the captive clips that the mirrors snap into, but the mirrors vibrate a fair amount in that position and will eventually crack your upper fairing without support.

It feels great, absolutely rock solid and my knees are a little less cold than usual. Soooo many compliments out of the blue too, this thing is gonna pick up so many more women when it's hot out again 😂
Get a 1098 and you'll pick up even more... ;)

J/K, I'm sure your bike stock would have no problem getting the attention of the fairer sex lol

Disclosure: These were among the shots taken for Superbike Italia centerfold back in the day.

Can you snap some pics from a couple of angles of how the fairing stay attaches to the frame? I just ordered one and need some inspiration for the inevitable heating and bending of the plastic to fit the setup.
Here are a few I grabbed last night really quickly while we were working on another bike and unable to pull the 1098 out. I'll snap the pics you need within the next couple of days when I can pull her out for a better angle. I also have the front of the Pani apart at the moment so I will grab some pics of the frame/stay for you as well in the hope it gives you some ideas.
