Kickstand height

I just purchased a 2008 Ducati S2R 1000 over the weekend and wondering what others are doing with a short kickstand. I am guessing the first owner adjusted the height of the bike to accommodate a taller rider, ( if that is possible). The bike leans precariously and wonder what others do if anything. Thanks!

I fitted a longer kickstand and no more heart attack when parking the bike.
