This is probably a really stupid question, but I thought I'd ask before I possibly screw something up. My key has been "sticky" recently - it feels less than smooth going in, and I have to jiggle it / shove it down a bit before I can do the usual push-down to get out of handlebar lock mode. Is it safe to just spray some WD-40 into the lock - or is there a better way?

You could shoot some WD-40 in there. There is an actual lube made for this that contains graphite. Auto stores have it.
