There are two ways you can easily increase the output of your motorcycle’s engine: increase the amount of air that gets in and make it easier to get that same (though really hot) air out. We have everything you need to make getting air in easier while keeping dirt and other debris out with K&N air filters.

K&N Engineering is a family owned business that’s been around for more than 35 years. During that time, they’ve created a filter that’s become a must-have for anyone looking to increase engine performance. K&N replacement filters have a lifetime warranty and come out of the box ready to go. No cutting or hacking at your OEM airbox required, just pull out the old filter, insert the pre-oiled K&N filter element, bolt everything back together and you’re ready to go.

K&N air filters are available in two flavors:
1. Stock Replacement filters normally do not require fuel management modification (though it never hurts). The three-layers of cotton provide optimal protection while allowing more air into your motor.
2. Racing filters require a custom fuel map for best results. These two-layer elements flow a significantly greater amount of air over stock. Unlike stock replacement air filters, K&N Racing filters only have a one year limited warranty.

These are not yet available on our website; call TJ at 866.931.6644 ext 817 to get the K&N filter you need. You can also send us an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with the year and model of your motorcycle for accurate availability.

We have just about every late-model sportbike configuration available:

That is a very good question. I would not be able to give you an accurate answer without putting them both on a flow bench. You will need to adjust your fueling to take full advantage of a race filter.
