Has anyone read Jason's account of using his equipment and managing his 172 mph slide down the front straight at Daytona after his tire let go?

None of the articles mentioned what he was wearing, but I saw a far away pic of him on his feet talking with the EMTs about 300 feet uptrack from where his bike stopped. He reportedly covered about 400 feet. That would make one heck of an add for his gear suppliers if there was footage from the accident.

His description of how he kept changing positions as he wore through in spots and got really hot on other spots is incredible!

Makes you think about what you wear, even at the speeds most of us attain.

Damnnn, that's a crazy account. I amazed he had the presence of mind and ability to adjust his slide/roll position while skipping across the surface at 170mph.

I just noticed the link is to a page that updates breaking news daily. To find the article, click on more breaking news and look back to about 12/10 or 12/11 for an article about Jason's description of the crash.
