Anyone have one of these?

I've got the CA kit also and I had just a touch of trouble with it. The only thing I had to do was use a file to knock the edge off of the circuit board. It didn't fit into the lens quite like I wanted it to. They're bright as hell too, i'm really happy with it.

Another +1 for the CA kit, I got a smoke lens (well and a clear one to switch back and forth)

I had the same SMALL problems with the circuit board edges, and the lens edges, but a little filing / sandpaper work and all was well, I also didn't like their "plug and play" connections, so I soldered them all ...

Almost caught it with the turn signal full on:

I have the integrated LED setup w a separately purchased CA clear lens and Cookie1 chop. My initial concerns where visibility and whether or not it would confusers cagers.

The combination is very bright - significantly brighter than the bulbs. The contrast between the brake and tail light reds are immediately noticeable and the contrast between the indicator orange & reds is distinct. The indicators are nice & bright from the rear and the sides. I've had people follow me to check that the lights weren't confusing & got a [thumbsup] I did not install the resistors as I wanted to minimize wiring & the quicker flash sequence - front & rear - is more noticeable.

Like BumpaD_Z28, I solder'd the wires & went over them w shrink tube. Corona Doped the exposed areas throughout... No problems w the wiring. The only problem was that the LED base did not not line up with the bulb prongs & that took some fiddling. It would occasionally wind loose and disable the brake light so I taped it in. I also drilled little holes in the bezel to run the indicator leads through just to keep the wiring short & simple.

I'd recommend it. My only advice would be to check at stops just to confirm that it's all functioning. I still do.

I think he was asking if anyone has done the integrated taillight AND turnsignals I am actually considering doing this myself.

Isn't that exactly what we're talking about? Are you referring to something that may be appropriately called cluster'd rather than integrated? Something like this:

Trivial nuances I know but I don't understand ???

Anyone have experience with the motodynamic one?

Yes, I am talking about using just the brake light and no rear indicators.
I hope I don't sound stupid, but do the turn signal wires just patch into the integrated brake light? I'm sure they do.

So, is there a total kit for this or must you purchase a couple of things to get it to happen?

The most common integrated tail kit is made by clear alternatives.
it includes everything you need.
brake LEDs connect into your existing plug, the blinkers (and included resistors) are wired into your turn signal wires using some crimp connectors.
comes with either a clear or smoke lens, and costs around $100

Motodynamic is the best!!! I love it. I bought a smoked tail light from them and it has the resisters soldered to the board at the factory so all you have to do is plug it in. No BS soldering of resistors or flasher work needed due to blinkers blinking to quickly. I have heard however that people have ordered and received defective boards and had to have a replacement shipped but I would rather have to deal with a replacement then get out the solder gun.

I have a slightly different question: I understand you can easily use only the brake light function of an integrate LED tail light, attaching the stock or aftermarket turn signals separately to the dedicated connectors on the harness.

However, I would like to use BOTH Rizoma Zero LED turn signal WITH the turn indicator function of a Motodynamics integrate tail light. I realize it seems dumb to add a turn signal to an integrated turn signal, but I quite like the Vegas-type directional LED that the Motodynamics integrated tail light provides to indicate a turn, but I also like the super bright LED of the Rizoma Zero.

Is this even possible or would I be drawing too much power from the circuit? What would I splice the Rizoma's into? Has anyone done this?
