Same one I got. No instructions either. Play around with it and you will figure it out. The tabs with the two holes get put on first. Then screw the the belly pan onto the tabs...

OK then.. that is the Monza style. I like that one the best. The best way to do it is to line it up where it will go. There are some pictures of my bike in the member bikes phot section if you are unsure. You will remove the bolts that are near the holes in the belly pan and add the metal brackets. It will take a bit of moving and tightening to get all of the holes lined up. One of the brackets is different than the rest, and I can't quite remember which one it goes on (I'm at work.) Once you get started though you'll see that it only goes together right one way and that it is super easy.

If your kit was the same as mine you will reuse the existing bolts and use the bolts from the kit to attach the belly pan. I believe the bolts only go in to the brackets one way.

Ok, THere's one funky bolt that doesn't let me thread the brackets all the way. Does anyone know where this one is supposed to go?

hey dennis,
depends on what your other mods will be. i don't think a full (engine length) unit will fit with the stock exhaust cuz that expansion bulge is pretty big.
one of the "monza" style ones like on scooby's bike will probably bolt right on. might need a _bit_ of trimming to get the front cylinder's header to clear, but that shouldn't take too much of an effort.

The bracket won't feed past the threading of the weird bolt. So, i'm unable to thread the bolt into the bike. Did you just bang it through with a hammer?!!

NEvermind all that. I just used one of the stock bolts for now. Thanks for all your help. It's installed. I guess I need to get some work done today too!

It turns out that the funky bolt was just poorly machined. I got a new one. Putting the bellypan on was easier than I thought. Thanks!

Yep, cost me the same. -The bolt was free. I got it from a BMW shop mechanic!
Installation was about 10 minutes.
