Well as luck would have it, the company I want to buy a bracket from (ECS) is apparently no more.

They apparently MADE an Alloy Fairing Mount set (alloy fairing brackets ... whatever be the name) which is exactly what I want.

Who also makes a similar product? I'm looking for billet headlight fairing / windscreen brackets!

Ack, the stock ones are incredibly heavy.


If you don't know of a vendor for billet units can anyone let me know who could make these for me? I'd be willing to pay $$! (To be negotiated...)

Or perhaps just a cheap vendor for stock replacements. Boo hiss.

Maybe somebody could inform me of a person who has taken their HL fairing off a 98-99 monster and would be willing to part with one of the brackets?

Are you talking about the cast bracket that attaches at the top triple?

Yes, the black bracket that is connected with two bolts that is in somewhat of a checkmark or V-shape, that bends angling both up and out slightly.

I have a pair of them I'm not using(I'd have to look for them). I crashed my monster and destroyed the fairing. I'm not positive, but I think the left one is bent a bit.
