BIKE - 2007 S2R1K
My headlight bucket cracked and my brackets got twisted. I ordered the new parts and after 2 months, they finally arrived. Well the brackets installed no problem but the replacement bucket they sent me is made of metal, not plastic like the one that originally came with my bike. Needless to say it did not fit. Now Im looking for a headlight that will fit the stock brackets.

Ive seen the bmw alternatives, they are just as pricey as ducati now.

I would be willing to buy one used or new but do i have any other options besides the stock look? Im looking for ANY solution, cheap or costly.

What can i stick on this bike that will function properly? Anyone used the new monster headlights on these bikes?

I should also mention that since i have clip ons under the triple, My brackets are mounted with the top hole aligned with the bottom screw.(The bottom bracket hole is not used) This moves my headlight down a good inch and a half or so.

Thanks for the input.

edit: Ended up going back to stock. Got a good deal on a used one.

This should give you some ideas: http://www.ducatimonster.org/forums...headlight-fairing-suggestions-ideas-pics.html
And this: http://www.hoosierhooligans.org/for...A5E1=2VCvHaNx4ckGP/fHozrBIanRYPkPAAAAVOPdJg==
And finally this: http://ducati-monster-forum.org/index.php?topic=17767.0 (NOTE: remove the dashes after ducati and monster for this link to work. Not allowed to directly link to there from here.)

They are the same thread on three different sites, but provide multiple answers from other forum members on the seperate sites.

Several photochops and pix there. Some people have used the new monster headlight. I myself installed the headlight off of the Yamaha MT-01.

Never got a response from that shop. I found used MT-01 headlights on ebay.uk or ebay.it. I also went on to the MT-01 Owners Club Forum (http://www.mt-owners-club.org), posting a thread asking to purchase the headlight from anybody who had swapped the OEM one out, and buying it from a member there.
