You the guy who posted on the CD-ROM list, staying by the Airport?

Sorry that you had 8 peeks at your post with no replies.

How long will you be around? Where are you staying?

Watch the threads for TNR (Tuesday night rides), MotoMkt (Thursday meetings at MotoMarket) and SMR (Sunday morning rides).

I've seen no action yet for rides this week. I'm not riding myself so I can't help you there. Maybe if there's nobody to hook up with you, we can at least suggest where you should be riding.

Sorry I didn't see or respond to your post earlier. I was born and raised in Boston and I am still trying to learn all the back roads myself. They keep on changing.

I am constantly riding in and around town, usually on the way to other activities. I can at least give you a few pointers on getting around the traffic patterns.

No definite plans for the weekend yet. Might go riding, might not. So many things to do, so little time. I can call you tonight to discuss possibilities.

Hey,

How long are you around for? As Don noted, we may be getting a Tuesday Nite Ride going a little North of Boston and hopefully if the weather cooperates a ride this weekend as well. If you're still gonna be around watch here or if that's not easy to do we can call you and keep you posted.

Miles,
I think you missed him. I talked to him briefly Friday night. He stated he was leaving town first thing Sunday.

I assume a ride is not tonight. It looks like it could get wet.

Yeah, I didn't ride in today cause it looked to be a wet, cold evening. There's a ride or two brewing for the weekend should the weather cooperate. Sat there may be a ride west and then up into Vermont for a bit. Then on Sunday Drill Sargent Don has us up at 0630 for a ride through the Kancgamangus. I'll post something as plans solidify.

Think someone needs a new hobby?

A ride in the Kanc sounds great. I will be in NH at the track all day Saturday. It's my friend's last race. A new baby is forcing retirement. I really don't understand his priorities.

Anyways, I could meet you somewhere up North Sunday for the ride back if I end up staying up there.

We pull off of I93 at exit 23 (Rt. 104) to start the real ride. If we tank up in Bristol, we should be able to get the full Kanc loop in before needing more fuel.

I don't know that exit or Bristol so I can't pick a friendly meeting spot. Do you have anything in mind?

Otherwise we can be crude and say something like "first gas station we come across on the right side of 104."

It looks like 70 miles from our start at the rest stop to exit 23. So I'd put us up there right about 7:30 if we get started reasonably close to the 6:30 target.

The next possible meeting point would be at the intersection of 112 (the Kanc) and I93 as we'll cross that later. It'd be tougher to put a meet time on that waypoint though.

Accuweather still says "chance of rain" for Sunday, so we're still up in the air on this.

It turns out that I will be back in Boston by Saturday night. I just saw your post anouncing the the Sunday ride. I will just meet you at the rest stop, if the rain holds out.
