I had my 907 first and still have it.....

Another Ducati? Probably a 90's 900SS. However, my 907 is red and I wanted a yellow Duc (my S4 is yellow) so I might have been swayed by a yellow 748.

I'm going to make it even harder...No Ducatis!!!

Say, that little bicycle motor was never built after the WWII, and Ducati went the way of the Doe Doe.

actually if the triumph dealer I first went to had not blown me off I would be riding a speed triple. It was a demo bike with about 300 miles that they were selling with a hardcore discount. Unfortunatly no one felt like selling the bike that day so I went down to the other Triumph dealer just to looksee. Forgot they were a ducati dealer and the 2k2 750D was just calling to me. Lucky for me huh!

My other option was a used 916 I was looking at. Price was about the same but good bit of milage.

Unfortunately, without the ducs, I would have been atop a HD 1200C Sportster. Whew! thank god I dodged that bullet.

If the HD salesman had been just the slightest bit friendly. Or even not had the "I may not ride one, but I sale them which makes it a previlage to take to me" attitude.

Luckily, when I was on my way home from the fourth HD dealership I had been to, I happened upon the Monster.

No Ducati? I bought my 907 because I really wanted something different. I had a Yamaha Virago at the time and just kind of stumbled across Ducati's and started doing some research on them.

I probably would not have bought a Laverda if I didn't have a Duc first.

Not a Harley, so probably something Japanese.... :-[

Ruling out the other bikes, probably a H-D 883, pre-rubber mount. Or maybe an earlier air-cooled Japanese or English bike.

Ah, if I could afford it, an old Vincent. But for daily riding, I guess another Beemer, like an 1150GS. Of course I used to have an R90/6 so another Beemer would be a bit of a snooze. Or maybe a Duke, or....

My head hurts. Glad they made Monsters...

hehe same as me! I still want a speed triple sometimes. I fell in love with the bright arse green color on the speed 4's. The orange was very cool too.
