Idle adjustment questions

I need to adjust my idle, at rest without using the choke I'm well below 1200rpms.

I read a previous thread which pointed out the fast idle adjuster screw and the one for correcting the choke after.

So I wonder, do I adjust the fast idle screw to get my standing rpms back to 1200? Do I adjust it while the bike is on, warmed up and with the choke completely off?
