 :( I have been using a pair of Icon gloves and boots this summer and they are junk !!! The gloves are already coming apart and the boots aren't much better. Buy cheap get cheap. My dealer took the gloves back and gave me credit toward a pair of good gloves (alpinestars). I don't have any experience with any of their other but I can't recomend thier gloves or boots to anyone.

you have to give details on the model of gloves/boots you got... i've heard good reviews on some of their gloves. i know that some manufacturers can make certain great products while others suck.

maybe you just got a bad pair? what does the rest of the list think?

The gloves that I got are their "Super Duty" gloves. They are comfortable but are coming apart at the wrist strap. The boots are the "Hooligan " boots. they too are comfortable but not very durable. The rubber shift nubs on top of the boots are starting to push down inside the boot. I was pretty happy with these items when I first purchased them and even recomended them on the list, but they aren't wearing very well.
BTW the local dealer has gotten other complaints about these gloves. He does say that the helmets are doing well. Hope this helps.

Just kind of an update on my experience with icon gear. We went on a group ride and one person had a pair of icon boots and an icon helmet. He was very happy with his helmet and thought the boots were okay. His boots looked in better shape than mine, maybe I just got a bad pair ???

I think some people are just more rough on things than others. I've heard from friends I trust that FIELDSHEER is crap, btu I've had one of their jackets for over 2 years and it's 100% perfect..not even the slightest stich comming loose. Go figure. Someone may have already said this, but perhaps you can just e-mail/call someone at ICON and tell them you are disapointed in the quality. They should be MORE than willing to get you a new set of gloves at the LEAST. They are kind of new to the biz aren't they?

Just an update on my experience with Icon gear. My dealer exchanged my boots for a new pair and they seem much better than my old boots.

I love my Icon stuff. The price is great for what you get. My Daytona jacket is really nice, and the TiMax gloves I have had no problems ith. I'm positive they would stand behind them though if there ever was. I only hear good things about that company.
