No, not that, Lori. My new S4R! After waiting 30 minutes to pick it up, the guy says "oh, the prep sheets says we have to charge the battery 10 hours. Can you come back tomorrow?"

The horror...

but what a great-looking bike. Even better in person!!!!

Awesome dude, that's great. But what a letdown at the same time. My bike has been in the shop for a while, and I thought i could get it on Saturady (my mistake actually) so I jsut saw it, but that was nice.

Did you sleep that night?

probably not. And because of my wife's schedule, I'm not going to be able to pick it up until after 3:30. Just in time to ride it home in rush hour traffic :'(

I took the plastic fairing off my 996 model to make it a monster. I put the sticky-note with my S4R VIN on the model and am now sadly driving it around my desk making vroom-vroom noises....one more day.

Jared,
I have to ask, how did you get the bike into the back of your truck?

you put a ramp on the tailgate and wheel it up.....or back it up to something the same height.

re: how did i get the bike in the truck

First wheelie comes to mind j/k

I have a 2x8 that I use to move bikes. The best route is a ramp there are several different types.
