I need an engine for a 02' monster.

I need an engine for a 02' monster. Someone please help. I am looking for a 900 engine.

what size?....620,750,or 900?

I have a 750, I would like to drop an 800 or 900 motor in it. If that is possible. I believe they are all on the same frame.

800 I think is not just a drop in because the ECU is different and I think is also the immobilizer equipped generation where you need the cluste too I think....

900 could drop in but you'de probably want the ECU and wiring harness there also!

Since the bike's an '02, the wiring will be the same between all three engines. He would need to find a way to increase the fuel to the larger engine.

The 800 would swap right in since it is essentially a stroked 750.

The 900 would require different lower intake manifolds, and a different exh. header as well.

Thought some more info would help....but I don't have an engine for you. :-\

Fuel regulation for the larger displacement can easily be compensated with a Power Commander. I've done it before so I know it works, just get one for the 800 or 900 when you find out which motor. That way you don't mess with the ecu at all.

I have a low milage 800 motor from a wreaked monster...I have the wiring, motor...still in the frame with all the necessary papers.....give me a call directly at 818-257-3106 if your interested..thanks

I have a 999 motor from a 2007 S4RS. Don't know if it would bolt in, but I am going to sell it cheap because the accident it was in broke off a section of casting on the end of one of the motor mounts. I believe it would still work. Can email pics. I can sell it complete except radiator, included but damaged. 800 proper break in miles only, with 600 mile service done. With complete exhaust. Can sell with ign switch and ECU, but the instrument cluster was damaged. I have a new virgin instrument cluster too, but would have to get list less 15% for that or will return it to dealer. I even have the frame with the matching number. If built in that frame with your parts you might be able to get the rest of the two year warranty, since the numbers would match. I bought it new in late July 2006. PM me if you have interest.
