Anyone have an Ohlins, or Penske rear shock for a 2002 Mille laying around? Come on, one of you do!

I didnt know the Sachs shock isnt servicable. How friggin gay!

Can you swap out the rear shock and still be ss legal?
Why don't you just spring it for your weight, say close enough and spend the money on an extra set of race tires?

Dave at GP Suspension said I could change the rear shock and stay SS legal. He said something to the effect, all his shock work is SS legal, including the shocks he sells new.

I asked about just adding a heavier spring, he told me it would work, but not as well as having a freshly serviced shock with the same spring.

If I can find one used, I could use it next year, and maybe sell it for what I paid for it. It just annoys me the Sachs isnt servicable.

I needed to really make sure I didnt like them, I think there were no less then 5 consumed in my effort to determine their nutritional, and taste bud value.
