Hi, my bike is 2012 monster 796, with Termis and race ECU, with high flow filter. I am facing a weird problem whereby the engine starts with 4K+ rpm. Seems like fuel is being injected by itself when the engine is started. Would this be an ECU or Fuel injection problem or else? How to find out what wrong of it? Any advise is welcome!

It was N gear at 4K+ RPM, this happen hold till I turned off the bike. I tried to hold this for few mins then it become very hot. I didn't try and shift the gear.

throttle cable stuck or jammed? Check the throttle body for the cable. open and close the throttle to check it closes all the way (and opens full)

Could be ECU or something mechanical like the throttle bodies. I don't think it's a fuel inject problem; something is forcing or telling the injectors to spray more gas.

Something like this once happened to my 1100 EVO, and what caused it was weird. My rear brake pedal switch was staying on, so I just disconnected it. After about 15 minutes or riding, my rpm held at around 4k and I couldn't get it to go down even while riding. Reconnected the brake light switch, rode home (with my brake light on the whole way) and after about 20 minutes of riding, it idled normally again and never came back. I know it sounds strange, but I swear it's how it happened. This forced me to fix my rear brake light switch issue.

Just spraying more fuel without the throttle body slides opening to let more air in will not result in increased rpm'. Either a slide is not closing or you have an intake air leak.

yeah, that was it. Unless you've unplugged yours, that's probably not your cause, but I wanted to share the story because it was odd how something unrelated could affect something else, in particular a symptom that's very similar to yours.
