Hunt Valley?

you're probably not going to get too many riding partners right away by asking just as we're getting into the cold part of the year ;D

i'm in northeast bawlmer city. there are a few others scattered about, as well.

I live in Owings Mills and love riding up through there. Very fun roads you can get lost on. [thumbsup] Bike needs to get worked on (no rear brakes and throttle ****ed up), but then I'll be in good shape to go for a ride. There are a few of us CAMers around the NW Balto area but not many.

I'm in Westminster, and ride through Hunt Valley quite a bit. I did one early this year (read cold) with r!ch and luke [thumbsup]. I rode up Falls road and over through Hampstead to Westminster last week on my way home from work.

Every once and a while I see a red monster in that area, is that you?

I will be up at Timonium - sp? for the indoor flat track races this Saturday night, not looking like I will be able to ride one of the bikes though. - Gene

The red monster is definitely me. It's an '05 620 with Low Termis, the metal tank and gold Brembos. I live right up in that area, so if you see a moron tearing up any of the country roads.....it's probably me.
I'm glad there are some people up there. I never see any other ducs, even in the city.
We'll have to get a "Balto. County only" ride goin' in the spring. Of course, all are invited!

Cool, I was stopped at the corner of shawan road and falls, two cars back from the light. If that was you on the red monster, I saw you pass through the lights on falls and I was waving like an idiot. [cheeky]

Great to hear from another CAMmer up in the Baltimore area. Yeah, as desmo drum said, him, Rich and I went for a ride in the Carroll/Balt. co. area in early spring. Good to hear you're getting your bike and yourself back in the saddle Rich. I'm actually planning to move to Towson soon. Looking foreward to hooking up with some Balt. area riders in the spring.

I'm so psyched! It's good to know I don't have to stand out all the time, being the only Ducati moron in the area. Everyone always looks and goes...."Is that a Jap bike?"......I just laugh and rev.
If anyone wants to go for a "polar bear" ride in the middle of next week, I'll be around Tuesday and Wednesday. I never winterize the bike, and she's overdue for her 6K check up at Speeds...but what the hell. It was meant to be ridden!

depending on timing and whatnot....I might be up for that....of course...I'd have to haul my ass up you guys way to make that happen....but I jet through there anytime I am going up to my Mother in Law's in York,PA....I always like stopping at Wegman's if possible to get unique food items too!

We could meet up at Chipotle's in that little strip mall area in Hunt Valley.....I love that place.

If temp hits 50 I'm riding Saturday afternon (noon or 1ish). No planned route yet. It's a last ride before the clipons and rearsets go on. Anyone in?

Probably. With hard side cases, i can do some gift shopping too. I need to go to Ikea too which puts me up your way Chris.

Looks like I'm in, although I'll need a map to keep up with you fast guys.

DC, you ever turn down a ride?

can't ride this Sat. I've got a zillion obligations/parties the next few weekends through the holidays. And honestly, I wuss out when it gets below 50 degrees.

A Balt. area happy hour sounds good Statler. But please understand, I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and a 7 month old son. So my ability to go "out" is very limited these days. However, one day during the week between xmas and new years might work for me.

Anyone been to first Thurs. bike night at Peter's Inn in Fells Point during the riding season? I heard a wide variety of bikes show up- new and vintage, including some ducs.
