Could I use a normal magic marker or should I use some kind of special paint?

I want to do this

Perhaps that was yellow rubber molded into the tire when it was manufactured?

Somewhere here in the US there's a company that makes colored rubber tires, in yellow, red, green and blue, IIRC. But the whole tire is colored...

I *really* wish I hadn't looked at that.

That's almost as pathetic as Janet Jackson's "display" at the Superbowl.

ok, this is getting a little too close to harley-esque
butt jewelry. i thought the whole point of the
monster revolution was minimalist functionality.

Geez, all he said was he wanted to do it, guys.
He might not like your mods either. It's not a mod for me, but it is his bike after all.....

How about masking the sidewalls, then spray painting the tire whatever color you want in there, then go ride it like you've just installed a new tire and slowly get to the edges, wearing off the paint everywhere but in the grooves. 8)

It could work. ;)

I would just get a paint pen at the art store and do it. If you go outside the lines just use some sandpaper to remove. It would not be permanent but would work for your application.

Don't sugar coat it Ryan. Tell him what you really think.
