About to throw down for the Heindl rear stand. I'm 99% sure my swingy has spools, but never hurts to double check with the oldtimers :)

on a 03 620ie btw.

Thanks!

It probably doesn't unless you had them added. Spools are nubs that stick out of your swingarm. The nubs (spools) go in the Y-shaped part of a rearstand, making it more stable. Here's an example of a spool (they can be located on different parts of your swingarm and come in different colors and material):

Ah ok, for some reason I thought spools referred to the holes in the swingarm aligned with the center of the rear wheel. Good thing I checked.

Lack of spools shouldn't stop you. Just get some. They're simply screw ins. Every aftermarket manufacturer and his ugly sister make them for cheap. Having said that, make sure they'll support your bike before you jack it up. ;D
