What will the motor sound like when they all scatter along America's great open hi-ways? It might explain a ring/vibration/grind sound I'm hearing at idle(I hope). Thanks all!

After all the cylinder fin rubber pucks vibrate out, just get some A/M exhaust and you won't hear the ringing out of the engine anymore! [thumbsup]

From what I understand of it, they're in there to keep the fins from vibrating and ringing so as to keep the noise emissions down on the engine. That's it.

That's what I found the other day! I was wondering what it was - a small black disk, about the size of a dime, and about a 1/4 inch thick.
