Considering a 100ish watt output PIAA H4, but have seen a word here and there about it being too much strain on the stock wiring/charging system. I wouldn't be worried, but the bike is getting heated grips, and a power outlet also. Any thoughts? I was under the impression that those things drew the stock amount of power and put out more, but who knows...

The new PIAA's are suppoed to give the 100/125 output for the draw of a 55/60 (stock), so if no more draw than stock, you shouldn;t have a problem.

I would be suspect of other (off) brands if they don't advertise their draw, could be 100=100

fwiw, I have been using PIAA's exclusively in all my vehicles for 20 years.
