I'm sure we can get together for some rides if you don't mind riding with some Harleys. Where in Montgomery Co are you?We are down by I95 in Prospect Park. Is the S4R your first and only bike?

I don't mind HD's ....I am in Harleysville. That is right of the Lansdale exit of the Northeast Extension. This is my Third bike. I had an SV650 and a Katana before that......Due to the cost....the S4r is the only bike I own now......

Ok, we've been thru Harleysville many times. I'll post any rides we plan, winter is sortof hit and miss tho. But we would like to get a group together for the Pocono Mnt Sportfest, I think it's in Aug, so keep that in mind for a summer run!
Have you ever been to North American Warhorse, thats a nice ride, going the back way, and we have rode to Cabelas in Hamburg, thats a nice back road ride too.

I guess I'll chime in here too, I bought my 620 this past summer (August) and am in Center City, Philly. I'm going to be working full time in the hospital for the next 6 months, but hopefully come summer I'll have some time to join in for a few rides. That is if you guys/gals can stand having a slow-poke at the end ;D. Mrz3coupe, what kind of coupe do you have 2.8 or 3.0? I have a 2001 Laguna Seca Blue M Coupe. It's pretty funny how coupe people tend to be motorcycle people too :D.

Brian, Warhorse is the Ducati store in Scranton, nice to visit and fun to get there! They also sell Indian, Aprilla, and I think Moto Guzzi. And if you are up that far , the trip should include RT 97 on the NY side., nice road.

I love to ride in the Pine Grove Tower City area.. Nice ride up from Harrisburg! Those roads are kinda on the way to scranton from down you guys way. Do you get to Scranton via Rte 81? I got lots of back country roads up here. I love hihgways too. I want to plan a ride to Annapolis MD. My mom lives there. I need to find the back road way . Are there any good websites to plan a good motorcycle or even bicycle back road trips. I would also like to do that ride on my bicycle. I know this is a little off topic but if we could all get together for a big central PA ride, that would be sweet!

We ride with a guy from Delaware, that knows lots of back roads, and we have made trips to Annapolis. We sometimes take Rt 301, but thats coming from Philly,620iered, you are in Harrisburg, right? The back roads are there , you just have to know where to find them.
Pine Grove area is great, we have traveled there, then took Rt 61 thru Mt Cramel, Sunbury, Danville.
Shartesville has a bike getogether second Sunday of each month at Haags Hotel Restaurant for a big biker breakfast and comraderie, We have went a few times , it's great, they have it year long. Phone for directions~ 610-488-6692

I would be in for a big Pa. ride, lets plan one for the summer, the Sportbike fest is in the Poconos in August, that could be a trip too. There is a Reduc event there too, but not sure of the date.
There is a bike nite in Philly every Tues nite , check back in the posts, JT Tucker annouced that earlier.

To get to Scranton we take Rt 100 to RT309...Rt 97 thru Port Jervis, NY is great!!! Then hit Rt 209 in Pa.

On our rides we usually end up with some highway and some backroads, it's good to get a mixture, keeps things interesting!

Ride Safe!! Deb ;D

All the back roads up here I know lead to Baltimore, but from there I have problems. I really don't want to be getting lost in Baltimore. My wife and I took a trip through New England last year and were on some of those roads. Nice area. Unfortunately not on a bike though. She doesn't ride and really has no interest in learning, although I would like her to. If nothing else just to take the safety course. It would give her a better appreciation of what I do. Deb maybe you could give a little post in here about the joys and I'll let her read it. Maybe we could twist her arm a little.

Sure,
Everyone gets to ride but me. I will have to ride down to Phili the day before and stay at a Hotel and ride up with you. I am not missing out on any rides. You guys can always ride up to Pocono to watch a track day also. It would be a good way to see what your gettting into.

Thats a good idea, to watch a track day first. That way you can get a feel for what it is, before going in blind.
