....gotta question for you. From your posts, I can see you're out of Fresno. I'm just down the road in Lemoore and am in the serious looking phase of picking up an 800 or 900 Monster. I was wondering if you've ever had any dealings with our local Duc dealer, Wilson's in Fresno? If so, would you recommend them? Is there anyone I should ask for as far as a salesman or manager to help me swing a sweet deal? Also, how's their service department? Any help you can send my way would really be appreciated. I'm looking at doing the deal right after Christmas. Thanks.....

I've bought 2 ducs there and had a good experience.
I know their prices are often lower than other dealers on new bikes as well.
The sales manager is Michael, and the GM is Gary.
The sales people probably turn over frequently (like most places).
I would try to call and just deal with a manager from the get-go if you can.
deals are more likely to be had with 03's and older rather than new 04's.
currently they list a used 01 M900Sie (same bike i have) for $7k and a 03 M800S or dark for $8k. (personally id get the 900 and blow the extra grand on pipes and upgrades...)

The service department was pretty good, but I havent been there in a long time.
One of their former mechanics now works out of his house, and i take some stuff there. works a lot cheaper
also i have a buddy in Sac that wrenches on our bikes.
he works even cheaper (i pay him in beer ;D)
lemme know if you need anything else, i could even go check out the used one for you if you want.

Thanks......

....'preciate the info. I saw Wilson's ad on their web site for the '01 900 and that's what got me thinking about them. I'll have to see what kind of finacial damage I do to myself during the holidays before I can do the deed. I figure that with the holidays and the lovely central valley weather (frost mixed with 50 foot visability fog) , the 900 should be there until I'm ready. As far as your Sac connection goes, what kind of beer does he drink? I'm thinking I got to meet this guy. Again,
Thanks........
