I have a 95 m-900 with older style Fast By Farrachi silencers on it. A few questions:

1. It sounds great but it is just too loud for me, How do I get the Farrachi silencers off? Are they welded, or do they just have some type of puddy on them? I cannot see any welds, just where they slip in looks like it is sealed up really good, but no mechanical connections.

2. How much will this hurt my bikes performance? Will the increased back pressure give me a better bottom end, and steal performance from my top end? Will it mess up how the bike is tuned? Will it make any diffrence besides the loudness of the bike and a few hP?

they should be attached where the head-pipe meets the s-pipe near the footpegs
they slide right out.

depends how your bike was tuned, but you should be fine going to a stock pipe or a different exhaust system that is quieter.

Slip-ons were a 5 minute job!

Thanks for all your help, as soon as I unbolted the can it just popped right off. I replaced both cans in less than 5 minutes flat!!!!!! I am offering the Fast by Ferracci cans for sale in the classified section.
