Hi all! I need some help -

I need to replace the oil return lines that run from the cylinder wall to the crankcase. The two short ones on the LH side of the motor.

Does anyone know a race shop, or indie mechanic in the area that could whip me up a set?!?

I could order from the dealer, but then I'm guaranteed to never get them fixed ;-) ! Seriously, not a single part that I've ordered since Duc's brilliant decision to move fulfillment back to the homeland has EVER arrived. What's worse is that the dealers don't seem to have any clue what to do about it, who to call, how to track...nothing. It's ridiculous and I don't want to waste my time, and potentially pay in advance too.

It's just a short length of SS with crimped fittings, so I've gotta believe there are a ton of race-prep and other guys around here that can make me a set.

Do you know any???

Sweet! If you got a set in fairly nice shape, I'll definitely take 'em. Mine are all crusty and cracked, so a leak couldn't be far behind.

Who, where, what are you?

I'm right in LA...West Hollywood area.

Ya know, I dont think there is. In fact Im having a big garage sale, so to speak and getting rid of several boxes (I think 6 was the number I stopped at) of stuff. I gotta make room and finance the new racebike project, baby needs Carillos and Mags. ;D

;D [thumbsup] BCM...BCM...BCM [thumbsup] ;D Leslie might actually have everything!

I called BH Ducati, Del Amo, Munroe, Marin, Ferracci, Pro Italia, etc., and NOONE even game me the same answer, or the same price quote!! One guy even told me the parts were "NLA"! Ridiculous.

What a disaster Duc's parts division has become since the move back to Bologna! It's like they stepped back in time 20 years!!

Ducman, I absolutely would have taken yours off your hands, and thank you for the offer, but not only did BCM have a spanking new set, they had an anodized set of hardware and mounting plates to go with it. Very happy. More $$ than I wanted to spend, but she'll look great, it'll compliment the SS bolt kit I just got, and I can forget about them for another decade. [laugh]
