Can someone give me a ball park number as to the height of a Monsters bars. I need to know if i can fit one into the back of a GMC Safari. This would be easist to transport 1hr from the airport to home, if i end up getting one shipped in :)

On mine it's 40" to the top of the fluid reservoirs and 41 1/4" to the top of the speedo.

Check your available length also - from tip to tip, mine is 7 ft long. I wouldn't have believed it without measuring.

Cool on winning on Ebay!

If you are new to Monsters, also take something at least 8 ft long for a ramp (like a 2 X 12 X 8') if you don't already have one. The header on the front cylinder is the lowest part on the engine and first thing to bottom out going over the top edge if the ramp is too short.

If you have to take the plank ramp route, a 2 X 12 is plenty stout enough. 2 X 10 is a little too flexible for my nerves.

"Wouldn't the 2x10 be stiffer because its shorter? Good call on the ramp idea, i haven't even thought that far ahead. "

12" wide, 8' long. ;)

Don't worry about that buzz - it's semi permanent ;D

I've had mine now for over 16 months and I just caught myself standing and looking over it for several minutes after I finished straightening up the garage. Still makes me smile just like when I first got it. ;)
