First off -- HELLO! This is my first post on the board. I have a simple question I'm sure can be answered (and I checked the archives first but with no luck)

I just picked up a 2002 Monster 620 i.e. dark which is my first bike. I have raced cars for quite some time and I thought I'd make the move to check out beasts with only two wheels.

My question is: Will the CF heel guards off the S4 (ducati part number 18113 and 18114) directly replace my stock aluminium guards? I thought a touch of carbon would look bad a-.

I'm not sure if they'll fit. However... my '01 M900s also came with carbon heel guards, you may want to look up that part number, to see if it's the same as the ones for the S4.

I pulled off my heelguards right after I got my bike and wrinkle painted them black. I knew I was going to get slipons but wanted to change the look until I could afford Sil Conis. Eastwood has a great wrinkle paint. boocoo durable and a nice industrial look.

This is an old thread..but thought I would search the board before I asked...didn't come up with anyting.

Has anybody come accross a source for Carbon Heel Guard for a M750?

Also..what is "Wrinkle Paint"?
