I got them and they work great. You could make them your self, but hey it was a hell of lot easier to buy them...

Thought about that, but there's a tricky angle to get right and BJ's (poorducrider) stays are powdercoated and work great. Cost a lot less than the time it would take me to run to Home Depot, then fab the pieces. :)

i've got a set .... about $30 - $35 (can't remember exactly).
i had to tweak the upper end to get it laying flat against
the fairing. also, using the stock bolts leaves them
engaged on just a couple of threads. i got some nice
stainless hardware for a couple of bucks and everything
is tight and secure. other than that, i highly recommend them. fairing is rock solid now, and they look kinda cool too.

BJ now ships new longer stainless bolts with the stays.
