I’ve got a 2003 S4 and a 2014 1200S, rear brakes crap on both; always have been despite meticulous bleeding, deglazing the discs, trying different pad compounds.I’m with TigerGA in wondering why they fitted them at all. Why they bothered with ABS on the 1200S is a total mystery
Reckon ilyabarankevich must have something ‘wrong’ with his brakes if he can get the rear to lock. I’ve found they’re useful for holding you for hill starts bu other than that....

I have had the most success with filling the system "backwards". I disconnect the reservoir and connect a hose that's a bit longer and drop the loose end into a plastic cup. Then fill a 250ml syringe with brake fluid, with a short hose, attach it to the bleed nipple on the caliper and push the fluid through that way. This has always given me a good firm Pedal feel.
