Glad to hear that you're ok, all things considered.

I guess it would be as much fun if it wasn't dangerous.
the painful (sic) part is that after the crash Ryan gave his other bike to a buddy to hopefully defend his 1-2 point lead in one of the 500 championships (i forget which one).

...that guy dumped Ryan's FZR400 in practice. so he got 2nd place in that championship and two crashed bikes on the day.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd in three championships aint bad for the season however. plus 2nd in some other class that ended mid-season... or i think that's what he just told me. the 1-2-3 part is for sure correct.

mr. stubborn insisted on walking about 75 yards to the ER entrance rather than being dropped off. around yard #40 i think he realized that was a bad idea.. [laugh]
...no worries Ryan, any time ;D

at least the coffee in the waiting room was good...

good coffee at the hospital? you feelin' ok, luca?
surprisingly, the coffe was good! must have been because of the reduced size of the facility an scars frequenting... ;D

...he/we drove to Henry Mayo in Valencia for just that reason. everyone at the track (and in the waiting room @ Mayo) said stay away from AV.
Heal Fast! Sorry to hear about your get off. Sounded like a scary one. Thanks again for helping me out in my time of need!

injury update: right wrist is broken as well, but it's an easy break with a 90% chance of proper healing. left pinky is a very complicated break that will require surgery. hopefully they can put a srew in it, but they won't be able to tell until they open it up. mobility will never completely come back, but if the break is too complicated to screw it together the chances of developing arthritis will be much greater.

going back tomorrow to see the foot specialist.

PS: Nick, I AM concerned about that boot coming off. The same type of boot has served me very well in past crashes (this particular pair was only a few months old), but I don't think that there is any excuse for a boot coming off under any circumstances, unless the foot comes with it. in this case, the zipper broke... i'll try a different brand for my next pair.
Good luck sorry to hear about this though :(
Man that sucks.

I hope you have a super speedy recovery and feel better soon.
