I didn't want to post about an accident until I was back up and riding again. (not sure why)
On the 20th of November ONE BLOCK from my office, I attempted to take a right turn onto a side street. Glenda the MercedesC NO Class Witch thought I was turning left...
BECAUSE SHE HIT MY REAR TIRE WITH HER FRONT BUMPER AND shoved me there!!!!
She passed me on the right as I was in the turn (well sliding out and still turning)
I thought to myself, self:
Why is she on my right?
She's on a cell phone!
OH nuts! I'm going to go under the car!
I didn't.
I couldn't hit her in the face with my helmet as the cop was holding me down.
I did tell her to f**k off though.
The bike ended up with rashed exhaust cover,
rashed can,
rashed right peg,
broken rear brake lever,
broken right CRG mirror,
broken right blinker lense,
rashed and crushed PauliMoto Clutch Cover (but I'll be damned if that half cover didn't save my Kukuri Pressure Plate!)
After a long morning in the ER, I was soar, stiff and had a seriously banged up right knee and shin, no rash or broken anything, and a dash of mild head injury.
PROPS to my husband for working on my bike so fast and furious while I was at work.
Props to the CATscan Rads for proving I have a brain! (I got pictures now!)
Props to my fellow DMLers who sold parts to me.
Props to Ducati Seattle for getting the rear brake lever to me so fast. You SO get all my money from now on.
Glenda the Stupid Witch can go to hell.
Today was the first day back on the road.
MAN, I felt like a crack sleeper with no pipe these last 13 days!!
Honestly I was scared the first 5 miles, my Survival Reflexes were just ringing on everything. By the time I made it to the client's I was better.
After work I road all over Clearwater until the SRs were destroyed.
I got my swagger back! [thumbsup]
Wear your gear!!!!!! ;D
PS. I bought new bling and billet and CF, Rizoma Sliders, and CRG shorty levers during repairs. THAT'LL show Glenda the Stupid Witch!
