I have a 2004 Monster M800i.e. I'm looking to swap out an unserviceable/totally fired gauge cluster. According to the part manual, my stock gauge part number is 406.1.026.1C

Can anyone tell me if part number 406.1.033.4C be substituted? The only visual defference is that the tachometer reads to 12k RPM vice mine which reads to 11k. Also, the Magnetti Marelli logo isn't on the second gauge either but whatever.

What about...

What about 406.1.026.2C? It's off a 2003 M620. Is there that big a diffence between .1C and .2C? From what I can tell, one part number superseded the other but I'd like to confirm.

technically i think it should work, however as was pointed out before, the immobilizer will keep your bike from starting with the new gauges. technically you can clone your old immobilizer info onto your new gauge cluster for around $200.
