I blew the fuse for the directionals, brake light, and cockpit. On the ride in this morning I noted that the tach wasn't reading, either. Is it electrically controlled, and if so, is it on the same circuit? I thought it was mechanical in nature, like the speedo.

Can you believe I blew said fuze while installing new pipes? It's a long, sad story... but the pipes kick ass! Thanks Strati!

Note: blown fuze was my error, no fault of Strati's pipes

I don't think Ducati has used mechanical tachs for about 5-6 years.

Oh I think it is Strati's pipes. They make so much thunder they
start breaking fuses and loosening screws! Not to mention car alarms and windows. They make babies cry, and girls smile that special way...;D

Well, they made me smile in that special way, anyway! Then again, maybe that was the slight additional vibration. OK, new fuse in, all better. Something else to add to the underseat toolbox... got a small assorted box of spares. By the way "thingypit" = c0ckpit - but I did notice that I could say "ass." What a deal.

Thanks for the very serious, thoughtful help, guys... smartasses.
