i noticed when i first got my 01' s4, there seemed to be a part missing no the front fender. i noticed on the back left of the fender (if your sitting on the bike), a hole with threads. i assumed this is where a eye ring went that kept the speedo from flopping. i looked at bike bandit, called my ducati shop and nothing... then it hit me. the 02's went to a digital speedo. i noticed that every time you go to look at a schematic for an s4, it's dated "02'". so i pulled the schematic on a 01' 900ss and there it was. the missing part!
