hey all,

Plans changed recently, I am gonna need to clear out some of the toys.

So my newly acquired S2R is second in line:

S2R 800 with less than 10K mi, might still ride it a couple times. It is the splendid black w/ tangerine stripe.

updated mileage = 9,000mi

I just performed the 6K maintenance, valves are in spec. [thumbsup]

everything is as good as new. It has the cycle cat frame sliders, and a DIY cored cans, flat black painted belt covers.

It has a 06 GSXR 750 black forks + brakes, installed @ 6,200mi. They had a low 1,500mi on them.

stock forks are included and freshly rebuild.

I can take high res pics on demand, so don't be shy to email me. [email protected]

I am asking $7,300 AS IS

OR $6,800 with stock forks/brakes.

I am located in Somerville, MA

thanks for looking

price in OBO, of course.

someone's got to want a stock s2r800 w/ whole new front end.

for the right person, I'll even include the gsxr750 forks and brakes, I was going to install this month.

Bump for a nice bike.... I would say for a nice guy, but meh, he's French ;-)

But seriously, this bike is well sorted and a strong runner and yes, I've ridden it, and ridden next to (well usually in front of) it many times... ;D

Re: FS MA: 2006 S2R 800, black/tang, 4,600mi

well, my Laverda is not road worthy now, the gas prices are sky high.

the fork issue was resolved, and they have been behaving (as well as stock forks will) since.

according to the mechanic who fixed them, they had to be "friday" afternoon forks. seems that they were parts missing and "wrong" components.

haven't heard or read anything similar yet.
