I'd be interested in swingarm sliders. What was invoved in that add on, and where did you get them?
I assume the M1000S comes standard with swingarm spools? If so, you should be able to use the Lockhart-Phillips swingarm sliders and just thread them in place of your OEM spools. They don't list a set for Ducati, but I believe the Yamaha sliders use the same bolt thread.

(Check me on that one... I know the Suzuki sliders use a larger bolt as I had a larger than stock bung welded into my steel swingarm so I could use the larger bolt, assuming that it'd be stronger in case of a crash... Knock wood)

After getting hit about 2 months ago and having my CycleCat sliders break I've been doing some investigation with Alfred, their CEO.

No spools.
Have any of you w/ frame sliders considered adding swingarm sliders?
You switched to high pipes, right? After some embarrassing parking lot antics, I've realized the Monster already comes with frame sliders- big, aluminum, oval ones.

Even with high pipes, I imagine rearsets do a decent job protecting the swingarm. Maybe we can put travel stops or progressive springs on folding pegs?

After market rearsets have fixed footpegs that will act as frame sliders, but unless it's a simple drop in the parking lot, they'll bent and you can't fix billet stuff. Very expensive to replace, much more than real frame sliders.
