posting so that I may benefit from experienced feedback on which way to go for the above part
going to be tracking my 937+ starting next month and thought an extra layer of protection might make sense
eventually hope to get a track dedicated bike but want to first make sure i am going to really get back into tracking
regardless, I , have seen Ducabike sliders and Evotech (for twice the money) and, as stated, would welcome your qualified feedback

The Evotech sliders are definitely the most advanced and designed to distribute the weight over 2 different mount points on the bike's frame. I don't have them because I read enough reviews of that aluminum arm heating up since the Monster runs red hot in higher temps, especially in urban situations. My 937 is hot enough without putting a hot arm against my knees. I opted for Woodcraft sliders myself: Woodcraft frame slider 937

just because they are for sale does not make them a best idea. maybe better to repair the damage to the bits and pieces that break off than to repair the frame and cases. look at the dual sports, their cages are mounted in several spots to unload the forces instead of centralizing the impact onto one peg. lots of folks have bought them to save $1000s in body work but on a monster.. i dont know but thinking , not the best idea.

i support the idea that mitigating impact to one point of the frame is a bad idea. just ride it as is.

salesman at my Ducati dealer also was anti-slider because of potential frame damage...
not spending money on something that could actually create a bigger problem always sounds like the way to go

Im not tracking the bike but run these SPEEDYMOTO Frame Slider: Mon '93-00,SS '93-00
My thinking if you go down hard enough to damage the frame with these on, your gunna be replacing a fair bit anyways...for light tip overs and slow speed oops they should help,
personally I hope they are never tested

my concern was not high speed/track incident as much as a low speed drop
in all my years I havent had an incident but....

I use B&G sliders. I've been (un) fortunate enough to give them a test run last year and they worked as advertised.

I have the Evotech and confirm they are a quality piece of kit. They do warm up but I never ride in shorts so haven't noticed a problem through my pants. One thing though is I can feel the arm when I hug the tank, on my leg. Its not crazy but worth noting
