Anyone have FHE with the RaceTech seals?

The 'Alternatives' thread in Tech tagged those as being cheaper than OEM.

Wanted to find out if I'm going to get what I pay for... :-\

I've used (and sold) Race Tech seals for over a decade. Only problem I've ever had were getting the correct parts for the goofy mid-90s 40mm Marzocchi forks.

You can also go to a Suzuki dealer and use GSXR fork seals. They're the same. I think 1991 GSXR750 has 41mm forks and others have 43.

Chris,

Thanks for the feedback, I'll likely be buying a set soon. :)

Did search ;) this was the best thread I could come up with, so now for my question - what fork seals are compatible on an 02' 620 Dark? Anyone?

02 620 had non-adj marzocchis, so 98-01 M750's and all 620s and 800s should be the same
well, my 750 had the non-adj showas... does that make a difference? always did wonder about that

Ok, then how can I tell if they are Marzocchis or Showas? There is nothing written on them, and it doesn't say in the owner's manual.

actually, it's on the inside of the forks right where the axle goes through, you have to pretty much pull the wheel off to see at least for the showas

i think its stamped on the inside of the fork near the bottom

the showas were also more 'gold' color, and the marzos usually more silver..but i dont know if thats a reliable way to tell! ;)

nah, not really as mine are about as silver as you can get!

Ok, I just went out to check and see exactly where the 'showa' is and it's right under the lower plastic ring that holds the fender on, if it's not there on the inside, you probably have marzocchis
