Finally bought a monster (updated w/pics)

Hello all, I posted earlier this week about a 2001 M900 Dark for sale that I was considering. Well, as the subject of this thread might indicate, I decided to buy it.

I was a little nervous since I bought it without ever having ridden a monster. I was not dissappointed. I picked up the bike on Wednesday night and haven't stopped smiling since.

I have owned several other motorcycles, but nothing that even comes close to this one. I try to explain it to some of my buddies/co-workers but I can't. There is just something about it that I can't seem to put into words. Perhaps thats the "soul" of the monster that I keep reading about.

Well, anyway, thanks to everyone that helped me with the decision to purchase.

I knew when I posted that it was only a matter of time until the "...useless without pics..." comments began. I am at work right now (with the monster) and I will post pics sometime today. I already took some pictures but don't have access to them right now.

And I promise chocolate dougnuts are on their way.... [cheeky]

It seems like it was only yesterday when I was a non900 owner and was perusing the Official 900 Porn Only thread like a 13 year old with his dad's copy of Playboy....

The bike was very much stock when I bought it (including refelectors). So I will prepare to be teased.
