Bought one of these for my 900S. I just anted to note FWIW:
With the standard rubber pads, the stand is VERY hard to use alone. It's tough to get it under the swingarm while holding the bike up yourself. I can't really recommend this. I am waiting to get the "forks" which replace the pads and with try it that way (my swingarm has spools.)
Just my comments.

I used to have a Lockhart-Phillips stand with the plastic pads to hold the swingarm. You just have to get used to balancing the bike with one hand from behind while working the stand with the other hand. My new Pitbull stand with the spool attachments (apparently what you're calling "forks") is not really a whole lot easier to get the bike onto, except that once the spools slide into the slots on the stand, you know you have firm contact and you can then let go of the bike and lift the rear wheel up.

So have someone help you the first five or ten times until you get the hang of it.

Actually, the balancing act is one I'm pretty good at... I leaned how to mount a bike on a rear stand alone when I was racing in the 80s ;-). And have 3 bikes on rear stand right now in the garage, all mounted alone regularly.
Just for anyone curious out there, it's just a tight fit getting the FG stand in under the swingarm: the handle part of the stand comes close to the fender. Ideally with some stands you can fit the stand against the swingarm while the bike is still on the sidestand, then lift the bike vertical, and just push up the stand. However, with the FG stand and a stock monster, you cannot fit it under the swingarm until you have lifted the bike to the vertical postion. This leaves you holding the bike with one hand, and fiddling with the stand trying to get it situated with the other. Tough.
It may be much better with the forks/spools, I'll report on them when I get them. Also, if you have done the 'tail chop' thing, it may be much easier to gain access.
FWIW.

The price on the FG is good. But it is a little tough to get on by yourself. I get the wife to help.

It fits my Laverda pretty tight also, so I may try to 'adjust' (bend) it a little to make it wider.
