Just got the 600 mile service done on my monster 797. Itching for an exhaust, do NOT want to spend the (imo) ridiculous money for the termis. From everything I can see and lookin at both bikes at the dealer today the scrambler and 797 exhaust are IDENTICAL. Can ANYONE confirm that a scrambler exhaust will fit? There is almost 0 info on the 797 so far. There isn't even a dedicated place for it yet on this or any other forum. Zard has an exhaust available but eh, id like to get the comp werkes or something similar.

Everyone loves pics right

The 796, 797, and Scrambler (except the sixty2) all use the same 803cc engine. The headers are even interchangeable with the 696 and 1100 (s, EVO), although the mounting points may have differed.

I'd just double check the mounting points of the slipons. Maybe call an aftermarket manufacturer and ask them if the bikes use the same slipon, or check part numbers on their website.

*I just checked Akrapovic and the 2017 scrambler and 797 share the same part number, but not with the 2016 Scrambler. have a look at the pics.

Wow that was a big help! Thank you! I swear just the other day akro's website didn't even have the 797 listed. Nice to know. Looks like the comp werkes slip on will fit just the same. Makes life much easier. I'm surprised there's not more people talking about this bike. Anyways thanks so much for your help!!

Would the 797 headers fit a 2012 796?
